The Many Sleeping Faces of Lucy
Over the first few days after we were able to bring Lucy home, we began to notice that as Lucy slept she would make all kinds of faces. Some sad, some happy, some sleepy, and some that you can figure out how to label. These images were difficult to capture as they required long waits and a steady hand. We hope you enjoy them. And maybe you can tell us what she was dreaming about in each one :)
Announcing the Birth of Our Baby Girl!
Friends and Family,
We are so excited to announce the birth of our first baby, Lucy Abigail. She was born on August 21, 2009 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She arrived at 3:35am, giving a little shout of excitement upon delivery. She weighed 7 lbs. 4 ozs. and was 19.5 inches long.
Charity's Mom flew in on the 11th to help us prepare for Lucy's coming. Lucy was due on the 14th but didn't decide to grace us with her presence until a week later. Of course me, Charity, and Mom were all sitting around twiddling our thumbs until she came. Below are pictures of her first few moments of life.
